This week, DTSI Group, provider of communication services and technology to companies worldwide, launched Smart Connect Buildings and Communities Services (SCBCS). This is a system that addresses key concerns that local building owners and occupants may have. With SCBCS, buildings can go on intelligent autopilot. It is only one service which converges energy, security, networks, fire, Wi-Fi and environmental systems in one system.
According to Miguel Garcia, DTSI President and CEO, business support systems can response with SCBCS to any threat like power or network interruption, security break or fire. SCBCS works on the background as an autopilot and it can guide building managers, personnel and people working in the building day and night.
This service transforms physical communities into connected communities, it makes multi-site work places from traditional work areas, it manages costs and provides a safe and secure environment and SCBCS also generates savings and revenue opportunities. It combines technology and real estate application, devices and services in the cloud to become more efficient and to reduce costs.
Cisco developed this system and they offer similar services to communities. An example is the Community+Connect solution. It links homes, schools, transportation and the entire community so managers can plan their day-to-day operations.
